The Last Post

An irony in the title that isn't lost on me.

I won't be blogging or Tweeting as CSR anymore... I'll continue writing - I've got a book inside my head I think some folk might like to read.

I need to spend more than my money fighting to see my Son, I need to spend my time. Every last spare minute of it. I've enjoyed writing this blog, although it has at times been painful.

I have no wish to rant online and offend people - or give them a view of me that is tainted by my anger, so I'm calling it a day.

For those that have stopped by 'Thank You' even if so few of you left any comments! Just for the record... My name ain't CSR. It's Ray.. and I carried a rifle once. Take care all. CSR

  5. I concur with The Clown, Ray.

It was tough to read at times. And you are quite right. There IS a book in your head. You write beautifully so a book must be the way to go.

And who knows? It may well be cathartic. A therapy in itself.

Let me know when it hits the shelves.

And good luck with your son.

    Stay well,

    CR.

  6. I'm sorry to see you go, Ray - I sent you an email a while ago, if you remember, though I can't really see why you should.

Anyway, thanks for your blog - I wish you happiness, success and, above all, peace in whatever you decide to do.

Good luck and God bless and keep you and those dear to your

  8. I came late to this blog which is a shame, your writing was always first class if somewhat disturbing at times.

Good luck in the future, as Julia said, family always comes first.

  9. Well Ray, with you having seen your fair share of every emotion imaginable (and unimaginable), I honestly hope that you get to spend a good amount of peaceful time with your son in the very near future, and way beyond. As others have said, family always comes first.

You've got my email address, and I fully expect advance notification of when your book's about to hit the shelves ;-)

Take care, mate. And thanks for posting some of your deepest thoughts over at mine.

  11. Your writings have offered a rare insight, that all too often left me unable to respond because the right words wouldn't come.

Your experiences do deserve a wider audience, so keep writing and we'll buy your book.

Take care Ray, and good luck.

  15. During my as yet short experience of Twitter, your
contribution has been second to none.To be followed by you was flattering(no joke)which I saw as a 'coming of age'& an acceptance by an admired contributor.I wish you all the very best & very much look forward to your next sortie.Richard.
